please pray for C, has cancer and given bad news today, please pray for her family who are very worried about money due to the credit crunch :votive1:

Please pray for R, having surgery this evening, please pray he is very frail :votive1:

Please pray for Julia, she has chronic ME and very ill, she has two very young children and has been taken into hospital :votive1:

Please pray for S and J.
J has been suffering from dementia for some time. Now S had to finally admit to himself that he cannot care for his wife any more, and after 65 years of married life together she has to move into a home.
Both are heart-broken.

Praying that they will both adjust quickly.

For J, that she will feel calm and safe.

For S, that he will still feel involved in J's life.

Thank you for your prayers.
J still has moments of insight, when she is aware that 'something is wrong with her' - which is very distressing for her and her husband!
She has had episodes of wandering the streets in her nightie, and when S fell asleep in the armchair during the day she called people to tell them that he was dead.

S really isn't able to care for her at home any more, even with support; and everybody who knows them would agree that her moving into a care home is safer and in the best interest of them both ... and yet, now the decision has been made, it is so painful ...

Can I ask for some prayer for myself, please?
I had a tooth extracted yesterday - which involved 40 minutes of being pulled and pummeled about.
I guess I'm just sore and feeling sorry for myself ...

Please will you pray for my lovely friend 'L' who was gang raped not long ago. She is a very brave, happily married woman who is suffering terribly. She is thinking of coming to church with me after a long absence. Pray also that I will know how to offer her some comfort.
