I ask God to help me recover as much of my health as is possible to add some quality to life.

Peter, I found the first year the hardest and it certainly felt like a bereavement to me with losing my independence due to poor mobility and having to rely on others so much...but as time went on and with a lot of support from friends (especially here at i-church ) I have managed to adopt a new daily routine ( far less rigid than the old) that allows me to do what I can when I can and I rarely have to check the clock ....my normal day now is dictated by how stiff I am and how enticing the weather outside my window is ..a daily walk does me the power of good even if it does take an hour to do what I used to cover in ten minutes. The internet can be a wonderful way to meet new friends and take part in groups that I could not otherwise attend. The Lent group here is one such example and it is open to everyone. I have chatroom appointments four times a week and to me they are as important and as 'real' as any I attend physically.Ernest wrote:For renewed health.
